Search through multiple journals at once to find scholarly articles in these databases.
These two databases are maintained by the National Library of Medicine. PubMed is an EXCELLENT database to find peer-reviewed, academic journal articles.
**PubMed works a little differently than many other databases. Here is a link to search tips for PubMed.
Sometimes it's helpful to browse through individual journals to stay p up to date on trends and research. Paging through the table of contents of specific issues is also a great way to shop for a topic to research.
UpToDate provides current evidence based answers to clinical questions, not traditional journal articles. It includes coverage of ultrasonography and echocardiography in descriptions of tests used to diagnose different conditions.
