TEAS Entrance Exam
Students who want to enroll in the first semester of the nursing program must successfully pass the TEAS test as part of the program application process.
Please note:
There are a limited number of seats for each testing date and time. An appointment must be made in advance. Email the Exam Lab or call 307-778-1274 to make an appointment.
Nonrefundable fee of $70 to test. This fee must be paid on the the day of testing at the Exam Lab. Cash, check or credit card accepted.
Timed three and a half-hour test. (170 questions - 150 scored and 20 unscored)
Overall score must meet or exceed the National Mean of 65.7, and the Reading score must meet or exceed 71.1.
A passing score is valid for 3 years.
Students can take no more than two tests in a 12-month period. (For example: a student tests on Jan 16, 2024. The student can retest one time before Jan 16, 2025). There is a three week waiting period between tests. If the student is unsuccessful on the second attempt, there is a one-year waiting period from the date of the last test.
PN Predictor
Students who are licensed as an LPN or have completed two consecutive semesters of nursing school and who want to enroll in the third or fourth semester of the nursing program must successfully pass the PN Predictor test. This test is like taking a mini LPN NCLEX. View more information on the nursing program advanced placement option.

TEAS and PN Predictor exams are conducted using ATI Testing. Students who intend to take one of these tests must create a profile in ATI in order to test. They will also find practice tests at this website. This profile will be used extensively in the Nursing Program.
