Tutoring is available during the Fall and Spring semesters most days, Sunday to Friday, in many subjects – math, anatomy/physiology, biology, history, psychology, economics, business, humanities, art, medical terminology, geology, physics, political science, philosophy, and more! During the summer, tutoring is available five days a week, Monday to Friday, in most subjects.

Writing, public speaking, English, and communications assistance is also available. Our writing consultants help students become more independent, confident writers, speakers, and thinkers through a range of writing and public speaking support services and college success skills assistance. By listening, asking questions, and providing resources, our writing consultants empower students to evaluate and make decisions about their own work, encouraging them to develop positive attitudes about their communication skills.

Experience a supportive, exciting approach to learning: PASS offers the opportunity to study the exact course material covered in class with experienced tutors and former students. PASS is limited to specific, historically-challenging courses here at LCCC—ask your instructor if PASS is available for your class!

If it's 3 a.m. and students need help, they can try NetTutor, a free online service that offers tutoring in many subjects, including math, accounting, chemistry, humanities, and more, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Students access NetTutor within their courses from their Canvas account.
