Congratulations! You've made it to the library, or at least our webpage, but what now?
You want your students to do quality research for their course assignments. After all, this is supposed to be a college level class, right? The problem is that when faced with the prospect of library research, many students' first hurdle is figuring out where to start when there are so many resources at their disposal. It seems easier and faster to just go to Google and use the first three sites that come up (which usually means Wikipedia), but what can students do if their instructor has said that they can't just use Google or Wikipedia for all their research? Tell them not to panic! We are here to help
