Locate Library Materials

Locate Library Materials

  • Would you like to find articles and other materials to support your students' learning?
  • Are you researching a new topic?
  • Do you need information to support a grant application?
  • Is a committee you are part of looking for background information on a topic under study?

The librarians are happy to meet with professors and staff individually or in small groups to show you how to search our library catalog for books and how to locate articles and other materials housed in our online subscription databases. For assistance, stop by the library, call our help desk 307-778-1206, or check out our Meet the Librarians page to find your program's liaison to book a session directly with them.

Embed Materials in Your Course Shell

Using the Library's Online Resources in Canvas

Articles, videos, eBooks, and other resources from the library's databases can be used within your Canvas shells. You can use permanent links to direct students to some of the resources and others can be embedded directly in Canvas.

For assistance with video embeds, visit our guide titled Video Databases Technical Help.

If you have additional questions, please contact your library liaison. You can find your liaison here.

Set Journal Alerts

Set Journal Alerts

Did you know you can sign up to receive an email alert when new issues of a journal are published? Although it depends on the publisher, email alerts typically list the titles and authors of new articles and provide direct links to the full content.

Librarians are happy to assist you in setting up journal alerts for any of the over 60,000 journals we receive through our databases. Please stop by the library for assistance or contact the Information Desk, 307.778.1206.
