Occasionally the library may not own a book or article that you would like to read or need for class. When this happens, we can ask another library to send us the item to loan to you or you can make a purchase request.
Books, articles and other materials that are not available in our library's collection may be obtained from other libraries through the
Interlibrary Loan Request Form.
If you have questions about this form or have forgotten your PIN, please contact the library for help.
You'll be notified as soon as your materials arrive. Although most items arrive within a week, it may take two or three weeks if an item is difficult to find or shipped from out of state. Therefore, requests should be made well in advance of the date materials are needed.
The library welcomes recommendations for purchase of both print, audiovisual, and electronic resources that support students' research needs. If you're teaching a new course and your students will need library materials on course topics, the library staff will assist you in identifying and ordering relevant titles.
Faculty can request a log in to browse the catalog of eBooks available for purchase. This log in allows you to open a book, review chapter headings, and read the text to see if it meets your needs.
To request an item for purchase or a log in to browse eBooks, please contact the library liaison who specializes in your subject area.
